Look for Makaibari tea from Darjeeling, and Chamraj and Korakundah teas from the Ooty in the Nilgiris - all excellent stuff and some very fine teas like Silver Tips which are rather special!

They sound great! although I odn't drink much of the stuff myself, my girlfriend drinks several pints of assorted teas every day, so I wnatd to bring her back something special. But do you know where I can buy these teas (or any other special teas) in Delhi?

Most super markets in South Delhi would have a decent collection. The Cottage Industries Emporium at Janpath has a good collection of assorted gift packs. There are some tea specialists that may be worth trying -

1. Aap Ki Pasand in Darya Ganj, opposite the Golcha cinema in old Delhi.

2. Kho-Cha Teas at Kaka Nagar market, near The Oberoi.
