Medikos has always done me proud over the last 10 years, he has the eye testing and lense cutting in the shop and can really get glasses done quick if that's an issue!!

My last pair of Glasses there cost me 130 Euros pretty good as the quote I got in Holland for ultra thin, Vairio-focals, lightwieght plastic lens was nearer 1400 Euros!!

I've used this guy for years and while I'm sure there are cheaper Options, he has always bent over backwards to get things done for me!

Last year when I bought the above Glasses one lense broke in the cutting machine, he didn't have a replacement there and then, so he sent me on my way to Bharatpur, two days later my glasses followed me. He sent his guy on the train to deliver them!!

If you want to save money stipulate local frames they're often a fifth of the price of imported frames!!

Others I've spoken to have had a similar experience with medikos!!

He's situated at the far end of the Main Bazaar Paharganj, heading away from New Delhi Railway Station, walk straight on at the fork past the vivek Hotel and Cinema, past the book seller on the right he's 20 meterss up on the right with a glass fronted shop!!

Yep it's medikos all the way for me, they even said they would make them up for me via the net, no need for me to have an eye test as my eye sight has not changed since I was born,so they said that they would keep my details on file, I dont have an opticians in England any more, I can give you the phone No if you like 3620807 & 3520807 it's the No's I have at the moment, but things change

Now all phone numbers in Delhi have eight digits. If the above numbers haven't changed adding a 2 before these would help. For my own need I go to Lawrence & Mayo at Janpath.
