Here's a little service I use regularly called PC TO PAPER .

Most friends and relatives these days can be contacted easily over the net through emails, free phone calls, messenger software etc but there are always those relatives and friends who just will not be dragged into the age of computers, both my parents fit this category.

So I use this service to write a letter, I compose the letter in Microsoft Word, then upload this into the website and enter the details of where I wish the letter to be sent, they simply print the letter and post it for me so an up to date letter that I write at 5pm IST can be delivered to my folks in UK the next day.

They are a UK based company but have printing stations in North America, South Africa and Australia currently and are looking to expand this.

There is of course a charge but it is very reasonable.  You can also send real greetings cards made of wonderful things like Elephant Dung too.

In addition, if that relative wishes to send a letter to you then you can have your own mail box address, when the company receives a letter for you they scan it and email you a pdf file.

I've used this for 2 years and found it a great service, there may be other similar sites too I guess but I've not looked!

Cheers
Malc
Smoked for 25 years but now not smoked since 13th Jan. Am I now a non smoker, a smoker who doesn't smoke or an ex smoker? Do I have to even have a title, can I not just be a 'me'? Has not smoking made me crazy?, probably!

:D  :D  :D

Well they do state that they do not read anything when they print and send, but do we believe them??

If I needed some of the afore mentioned cream (which I don't) then I'd pick up the phone at enormous cost.

Anyway DD, can't you get any in Bangalore?  :D
