It was a beautiful day on 01.10.2011 when two friends sat with their families to revisit Jaipur & Ramgarh after over 10 years.
4.00 Am we thought was a good time to leave the NCR but traffic snarls all the way till Gurgaon awaited us. At 4.00 Am !!! This was really crazy. We lost over 40 minutes just strolling like a duck out of the pond in the traffic jams.
But all is never lost when you are on a highway...anywhere you go.
So a whirlwind over nighter to Raja Jai Singh's city was really a good idea after all these years.
This is our small 24 hours story with latest photos of this bygone era city.

The fortress called Amer Fort.

More pictures coming soon. We clicked from a very different perspective of the fort generally ignored by people who visit the fort.

Fuel valued at Rs. 3000.00. Average 15Kms/Ltr with AC. Five adults in our trusted i10.
Stopped at Nirulas two hours from here. Had Cappicuno which was O.K. Also had a Veg Cheese Tomato Pizza which was really hot as these guys use a chilli paste in it. Doused the mirchi by having ice cream samplers...Lol.
Carried on straight to Amer Fort. More pictures coming.

Wow!! Amer still had it's first rush but tricked the ground by touring in the opposite direction. I recommend that to all too.
