Planning on a Trip to Masinagudi

Planning on a trip to Masinagudi next week , any suggestions on Accomidation ? I will be travelling by Car from Bangalore - Masinagudi , so suggestions on what i should look for in terms of sightseeing , food etc between Bangalore and Masinagudi are most welcome.

Looks like the stay is almost confirmed. Ofcourse the stay will be thoroughly reviewed to let all of you know exactly whats on offer.

Enquiry and Response :

So Far so good. Called them and tghey clearly mentioned they would get back to me via email , which I had provided. The emailed back the details within 12 hours of the enquiry.

This is what they claim : De Rock-Jungle living offers True Wilderness Experience. (Will check this out when am there)

Here are more details :

Rooms:

De Rock-Jungle Living has the following types of rooms/No of Rooms

Stone House - Rs. 2500 (One)

Standard room - Rs. 2000/(One)

Arabic Tents - Rs. 2000/(Four)

Tree house - Rs. 4500/(One)

Deluxe Room-Rs.3000(Three)

Luxury Room- Rs.4000 (One)

Glass House (Luxury)-Rs. 5000(one)

Two bedroom Luxury Bungalow – Rs. 11,999/(one)

Please note that Luxury tax of 12.5% is applicable on the above rates.

 

Stone House
can accommodate two, or up to five with an extra mattress at Rs. 350/- per night.

Standard Room can accommodate two, or up to five with an extra mattress at Rs. 350/- per night.

Arabic Tents can accommodate up to two, or up to five. We do not recommend tents for families with kids or elderly guests or during the monsoon.

Tree House can accommodate two.

Deluxe Rooms can accommodate two, or up to five with an extra mattress at Rs. 350/- per night.

Luxury Room can accommodate two, or up to five with an extra mattress at Rs. 350/- per night.

Glass House can accommodate two, or up to five with an extra mattress at Rs. 350/- per night.

Two Bedroom Bungalow can accommodate 6, or up to 12 with an extra mattress at Rs. 350/- per night.

FOOD RATES

 

In addition to the room rent, food is charged at Rs. 650/- per head per day and covers all 3 meals. Tea and Coffee Charges are extra. Please be noted that breakfast for two is included in the Room Tariff (Extra persons per room would be charged Rs.150 for breakfast)


 

Breakfast - Rs. 150/ (Bread/Butter/Jam/Eggs/Tea/Coffee/South Indian dishes)

Lunch - Rs. 250/-(South Indian Thali with one Non Veg)

Dinner - Rs. 250/-(Indian Bread/Rice/One Non Veg/3- Non Veg, sweet or fruit)

6-10 Years (50% of Cost)

10 years above would be same charges as Adults.

Evening Tea/Coffee would be charged extra.

Barbeque

Table Top Barbecues( Vegetable) : Rs.299*/head (250 Gms/Head)

Table Top Barbecues( Beef or Chicken) : Rs.399*/head (250 Gms/Head)

Barbeques can also be prepared if there is a minimum head count of 15 Persons.( Unlimited Qty)

Chicken Barbeque-Rs.250/Head

Veg Barbeque Head-Rs200/Head

Please note that VAT is applicable on food and non alcoholic beverages.

You will be charged for as many meals as you have with us. However, in the event that you will not be having any meals with us, we request you to inform us at least 4 hours prior to the meal. We cook based on a headcount, and the kitchen needs to be informed in advance because we work on the assumption that while you are staying with us, all your meals will be had here, and charge you accordingly.
