So we found the Rythm House (Jyoti Da you MUST visit this place) in Mumbai, and based on various opinions ended up with a load of DVDs.
Jyoti Da if you haven't found it, yet Rythm House has 57 Bicycles a must for Satyajit Ray fans nah.

So far I've watched Being Cyrus,  D the Company and Black Friday, all a bit different from run of the mill Indian cinema.

By the way if you are in a hotel in India look out for UTV foreign film channel. very very good. Watched two great Iranian films on the last trip.

So which ones have you all watched already and which should I plump for next??

Company is by my favorite director Ram Gopal Varma, a fellow Hyderabadi too, so I've watched it 4-5 times already. Did you like it?

I recommend two other movies of his I see on your list - Sarkar and Rangeela. Sarkar was inspired by The Godfather according to the director, there's a sequel too. Satya is another movie of his I recommend but don't see on your list.

Thanks cyber bhai I would try to check out this store when I visit Mumbai.
I recommend the following films:
1. Kanchenjungha. In my opinion this one was the toughest challange for Satyajit Ray. The whole story is based on just one afternoon spent by an extended family in Darjeeling. It is a must see for all who loves Ray's films.
2. Parosh Pathar. A brilliand comical sattire with superb performance by the lead actor. Another great Ray film.
3. 36 Chowringhee road. With this film Ms. Aparana Sen made her debut as a director. This one is a very touchy film that only a woman could make. Go for it.
