Hmmm... good to be aware there are fake 1000's floating around, but no info about how to spot one. Only that they don't usually counterfeit the new ones.

I was at the bank yesterday and saw a prominent poster at the cashier's desk about fake notes.
It had descriptions and photographs, but I didn't study it...
I rarely see a Rs.1000 note anyway.

Having faced with problems of high denomination notes being subjected to scrutiny the fakers have started producing lower denomination notes like 500 Rs.
