What you all carry on trip to motherland?

Digital Camera or Camcorder or both or Camcorder which works also as a low pixel camera?


Also notebook or thumb drive?

Will appreciate the feedback.

BTW, trip postponed by a week, bosses did not agree with my schedule!

i think that i would rather have just the one, the less things to carry, charge and worry about losing the better. i have no idea about what might be good, but i'm sure someone else will.

i'm thinking of getting one of those little netbooks to upload photos to, and use email, when i go away next.

when are you off now?

The Panasonic Lumix TZ7 / ZS3 is a superb compact camera that also takes HD video with stereo sounds.

I have the earlier TZ5, which is brilliant, but the HD video on the new TZ7 makes it a fantastic all-rounder.

I'll second that, I have one and it is brilliant, I won't bother with a camcorder ever again, pictures and video are supreme quality, if going on a long holiday though you might want a handful of 16gb SDHC cards as the video uses the memory very quickly!
