I'm planning a tour in Rajastan from Delhi and back and I'll probably travel by car.
What is the approximate rate per day for hiring an AC car with driver?

Thanks!

Welcome to the India tree, Stefania.  I don't know the answer to your question, but surely someone will be around soon who does. :D  They must all be on vacation at the same time.

Hello,

I just returned from nearly the same trip in Rajasthan (16 days Delhi to Delhi via all sites to visit Delhi - Mandawa-Bikaner - Jaisalmer - Desert Kuri-Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur - Pushkar -- Jaipur - Agra) performed at 4 adults and we were passed by the Company (www.rajasthanvoyages.in) which gave us a quality service throughout the trip. We traveled in a Toyota Innova brand new with air conditioning and very friendly driver who spoke very good English. The prices were reasonable as we paid only 35Attached File  innova-l1.jpg   65.85K   1 downloads.jpg] euros per day all inclusive (driver, gasoline, parking, various taxes, etc....) and we never paid as a supplement.

For more information and advice, you can contact me by private message

thanks to all

It depends on the size of the vehicle, but, for instance, a Chevrolet Tavera or Toyota Qualis should cost around Rs.8/- per kilometer.

Foreigners are expected to pay a little more!

well thats right the rate depends on the size and segment which is somewhat like this...
Tata Indigo [Sedan] 4+1 = Rs 7/km [excluding all road expenses]
Toyota Innova [MUV] 6+1 = Rs 9/km [excluding all road expenses]
all rentals are subject to minimum of 250km running per day.
