Hallo everybody!!!
Serena is still here and alive...only don't have much time, but lurking around sometimes!  :P
I have a new project (started one year ago) with a friend for a forum about Indian Cinema all in italian.
It's very hard because in Italy Indian Cinema and Bollywood are not well accepted!

By the way, here I am because I have my tickets for August. My 19th years old nephew will be with hubby and me (second time for him, the first was in 2007 in Karnataka).
I decided to go again in Ladakh because one month ago I found the new that HH the Dali Lama will be in Ladakh and Zanskar for some teachings!
Can't wait!!
But I don't know really how to organize this thing....do we need a permit? Or we can go and sit?
The bad thing is that probably we have to go to Padum to attend the teachings because the scheduled date are 23-26 August in Leh and 16-19 August in Padum
and our flight back to Italy will be the 27th of August.....

Ciao! Jullay!!!
Serena

That was news to me as well , I`m going to the teachings in Kaza mid-July. Don´t  feel bad about going to Padum , it will mean a more dedicated crowd. Bring a pillow and a radio , and try to be nice about where you put your feet . You´ll find what you need to know here :

I will wait for your report then!

So no need for registration....but why I have to bring a FM radio???  :P

Hi,
Does someone have some fresh advice on taxi tariffs?
I've asked for a quotation but I can't make a comparison....

Well, i'm ready now!
I'll fly in one week  :lipssealed:

But the last doubts come in my mind...what about security check now for the flights to Leh?
I remember that in 2006 I had no problem with hand baggage and camera and everything.....
Some fresh experiences?
