The 2nd. gay parade is scheduled on 28th. June in Delhi. Last year around 700 people were expected to join but more than 1200 turned up. This year the number is expected to cross 2000.

Last year the crowd was enough to fill up the pavements along the route. This year it has a special significance as a Supreme Court rulling on gay rights is about come very soon.
I understand there will be a parade in Bangalore too.
In 1995 I saw the parade in Berlin, it was mind boggling and with all sorts of live music it was simply awsome. The parade and watchers moved on leaving roads littered with broken bottles and all sorts of refuse. The after parade scene was quite disgusting.
