Hi folks, not directly related to India, but just a quick heads up regarsing Pegasus Airlines - they are flying from London and other European cities to Istanbul and other Turkish destinations for as little as £29.99 - thats an unbeatable price for anyone trying to get across Europe to do the overland route to India.
For those just flying, I'm pretty sure there are fairly cheap flights available from Istanbul to Delhi. Anyone travelling from London to Delhi should definately consider a few nights in Istanbul along the way.

Afraid not, just found out about them last month. I'd imagine they're nothing fancy anyway...

hard to imagine many frills at that price. however, as someone who couldn't even fly to the nearest offshore island for that price, i'm envious!
do you know what it's like looking at airline prices from here??

Airfares have drastically fallen in India. Lots of travel packages at unbelivable prices are available to Indian tourists.

Do give Sumatra a go, cyberhippie. One of my favorite places. My daughter was born there on an island called Pulau Weh.
