I've put together a couple of pages to help folks plan their trip to India, prices on the ground and what's the weather like in ABC come January, August, December?

Here's the links but for further insight please feel free to post your questions here on The India Tree, where we have many knowledgable members.

Very nice charts, cyberhippie!  Even if I wasn't intending to "research" it, I enjoyed browsing the climate stuff. Oddly, our server blocks the prices one so I'll have to peek at that later.

But, can I make a suggestion? The green on red is somewhat hard to read, and impossible for anyone who is red - green colorblind (about 10% of men!). The men in my family are colorblind, otherwise I probably wouldn't have noticed. :)

cyber - red on green is hard for everybody to read, not just the red/green colorblind folks mentioned by jyoti.  I've read about this in the past but I can't remember the explanation - I think it's that the two colors are perceived at different focal lengths so the eye tries to switch back and forth between them, which make the letters sort of shimmer.  I think this is why in a vision test they show you letters on a red background then on a green background - because they are checking something to do with focal length.   One of the best combinations for readability is black on yellow, so I suggest changing the color combination to that - or anything other than red on green or green on red!

Other than that, very useful charts.  India is so big, with so many different climate zones and such climate variability throughout the year that it's really easy, especially for a first time traveler to be confused - or just to think "India = hot"
