Can you tell me where you had the best ever Ladoo.

I remember as a kid, Lucknow train station and a place called sondayla (not sure of spelling) had some real beauties, sold in clay pots.

The best Ladoo I have ever eaten was the one given as Prasad at Tirupati temple, the size of which was that of a tennis ball.

I agree. :)

They used to be much bigger but the size has been reduced these days, and some say the quality is not the same.... despite that it has to be the best laddu.

Patent push for Tirupati laddu
Hyderabad, June 3: Globalisation has caught Lord Balaji in its sweep.
The sacred Tirupati laddu, for which tens of thousands queue and jostle every day, is set to go global as soon as it receives a patent from the Registry of Geographical Indications (GI), Chennai.

The Tirupati Tirumala Devasthanam, which runs the temple, says there is a worldwide demand among Lord Venkateshwara’s devotees for the laddu, which has fallen prey to blackmarketeers and counterfeiters even at Tirupati......... http://www.telegraph...ory_9362751.jsp

*sigh*  I have never had amazing... or even impressive ... or even what I would call particularly good ladoo.  Guess I'll have to put that on my list of things to do in North India.

I did make some gram ladoo once, in the US. My Indian friends liked it, but I could still taste the beans. *yuk*

Easy question!!! :)

Last year, at the HCC, Bulawayo - Ganesh Chaturthi. Delicious.
'Their people will judge them on what they can build and not what they destroy.
To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent,
know that you are on the wrong side of history; but that we will extend a hand if you are
willing to unclench your fist." ~ Barack Obama.

If you are searching for Ladoo and you are in India then you are at the right place. Offcourse the ladoo is part of our Indian cuisine, and is made across the India. In fact the ladoo is so most sought sweet dish in different parts of the country.

Have you ever tried the special ladoo of the Tirupati Balaji Temple Shrine, it is just awesome. If you have not tried it yet then go to the Tirupati Balaji Shrine and have it.

After this come to Mathura, here you would also get the best ladoo of the India, I also like the ladoos of the Mathura. Mathura is a small city near Agra in Uttar Pradesh, India.
