Hi everyone,

I will soon be travelling north of India for 15 days and was wondering if I should get most of my rupees in Delhi before leaving or instead not worry about it and get the rupees I need along the way? here is the circuit I am planning to visit: Delhi-Amritsar-Dharamsala-Kangra Valley-Mandi-Shimla-Rishikesh-Varanasi-Mirzapur-Delhi Does ATM is easily available in all of those town? Last year I did an Egyptian tour including one week in Western desert and oasis, ant to my surprise, I did find an ATM even in the most isolated little villages deep in the desert....hope this will be the case once again in India!

Many Thanks
Christian

While in Mandi try a night or 2 at Rewalsar Lake, 1 hour from Mandi by local bus, also take a bus up the hill from Rewalsar to Padmasambhava's caves for some amazing views of the Himalayas (30-45mins RS8 by bus) Here's some of my pic's of both. KK
