I'm interested in how those who have visited India more than once view the changes in the country. It's a hot topic over many a cup of chai, of course, so I put together a survey (on my own site - sorry, the board here doesn't run to so many questions) to try and put numbers on it...

The phenomenal changes which have taken place in India over the past 25 years - or even over the past 5. Were those days long ago when you travelled there really 'golden,'  or is India generally better for the visitor today?

This survey explores the changes in India and whether they have made it an easier, more comfortable, better and more interesting destination for travellers. You can answer the questions if you have made two (or more) visits separated by at least five years.

Take the survey here:

(If you've done a toker survey before you'll be happy to hear it's all on one page now!)

Definitely in the hat. The raffle gets under way once the survey respondents (unique IPs    )  reach 200

You seem to have the French version of Mozilla's software, but never mind. I changed my survey script to a new one. Text responses have to be hand-entered into the survey system, so I decided to update all the responses daily. You did your survey before it was updated. Direct link to survey results page:

I have not taken the survey, will definitely come back... but from experience I tell you, people have become more arrogant, rude and stuck up here.. I just sensed that..

Some truth in your gut feeling. Of those that answered the question on the approachability of fellow travellers, the majority said that quality had become slightly worse or much worse than on their first visit:
