Temples Of India : Tamil Nadu

I picked this up on a whim for 150 Rupees in Rishikesh, ( which has a great place to buy DVDs  bought Siddartha and Himalaya there too)

It seems to be a series of cameo films on the temple theme but I could be wrong on that score.
Anyway well worth 150 Rupees of anyone's money, a great taster for anyone thinking of the temple trail in Tamil Nadu..........

Made me want to revisit and catch a lot of things we missed whilst there.

A couple of places in Chennai really caught the eye as well.

Looked like a great town as I sped out of it, shame on me...............

I think I recorded the same show a couple of years ago.

Eventhough I'm not much of a Temple person, I found it extremely fascinating and informative.

Just amazing how these Temples were built all that time ago.  

Is it the same one that focuses on Tanjore (Thanjavur) ?
