Approx Taxi Cost, Bangalore New Airport To Town

Hi there People,

Can any of you Bangaloreans tell me the Approx cost of a taxi from the New Bangalore Airport to MG Road in town.

Also the Tavel time it takes, will be late at night.

vandy i think its about 900 to 1000rs or a little more than that. even late at night it will take you about an hour and

Hi Vandy

The daytime rate is 750rs, plus if you've booked a taxi in advance from elsewhere it may cost you an extra100rs for parking.  Night rate could be an extra 50% although you'd expect it to be cheaper with no traffic.  Depending how late it is you'd be looking at 60-90 minutes!
Smoked for 25 years but now not smoked since 13th Jan. Am I now a non smoker, a smoker who doesn't smoke or an ex smoker? Do I have to even have a title, can I not just be a 'me'? Has not smoking made me crazy?, probably!

I have heard a fair bit of good remarks about the bus service.. especially from the business travellers who do get reimbursed if they take the more expensive taxi, but still prefer the bus. So if you are reaching a spot which close to your final locale, you can consider that option.

There is one taxi service which does airport shuttle from Indiranagar for 399/person.  Hertz is about 1150. If you don't have a lot of luggage, the bus is the cheapest.
