Hi,

I'm looking for the cheapest flight from India to BKK, I know they are from Kolkata but I will be down south, so I think I'll get one from Bangalore. Cheapest I've found is with Air India, anyone know of better?

Also I'm just buying this flight because I need it for my Visa application, I will probably want to change the date of travel. Anyone know how much this will cost me with Air India?

Thanks!

Depending on where you're from, you may not have to actually buy a ticket. I've never had them ask me to show mine.

Also, keep in mind that your visa period probably will start to run from the date of issue, not from the date of your entry into the country (at least that's the way for an India visa and a U.S. visa) , so if you drastically change you date of travel, you may lose a chunk of time from your visa.

Yep they want one alright! That's the Indian consulate here in Switzerland, even though I'm Australian.

The cheapest I've found is Air India, one way from Chennai to BKK, with makemytrip.com, anyone know how the fee will be to change dates?
