Almost next door to where I live a new Integrated terminal is taking shape. A swanky new railway station, metro hub & interstate bus terminal that is Anand Vihar. The metro line will be a complete east to west corridor passing through CP and also link Noida and Vaishali. Plans are afoot to build hotels to cater to both low, mid and high end visitors, shopping malls, restaurants.

Now this swanky railway terminal at Anand Vihar has been thrown open. This station will ultimately handle 216 trains. It is the first station in India to have separate premises for arriving & dparting trains.

The new Anand Vihar metro corridor is slated for opening tomorrow. It will start operation from 6 AM on 7th. Jan.
This means I no longer need to take my car to CP.

Yeah but you will need to remember when the metro closes and escape "the session" on time LOL.
