With all of this talk about photography here is my most recent virtual realty tour showing Akbar’s Tomb. I’m still working on this tour, got the east and west tags backwards and need to add more info about each photo.
http://indiavrtours....kbar_gate4.html

In a few weeks I will be in India for about 18 days, arriving in Bangalore, spend 5-7 days in Hampi and leaving from Hyderabad. Right now I’m looking for other good places to shoot virtual tours. Badami sounds good and I would like to some wild animal places.
Anyone who may have some ides of good places for this type of photography, please let me know. I will also be shooting HDR photos this time around.

Cheers,
Roger Berry

Stunning stuff as usual Cameleer, Badami would lend itself very well to this type of project.

Fantastic!  I love the ceiling in the main tomb so I'm happy to see such great images of it.

Thanks a lot Camaleer. If you happen to come to Delhi take your camera to the ruins of Tughlakabad.

I should be in Delhi again early next year and will make sure to check out the Tughlakabad Ruins.

As for the VR Tour,
I’m planning to number the hotspots and give each one a better description; this should make the tour easier and more interesting. The problem is I’m having trouble finding information on the 3 tombs in the front.

Here is an example of what some hotspots may say:

1 – Southern gateway entrance covered with floral and geometrical arabesque decoration in white marble and crowned with four elegant minarets.

2 - Four broad walkways with watercourses representing the four rivers of Paradise folw from the gates to the mausoleum.

3 - Akbar's grave is reached through this portico covered with gorgeous paintings in gold, blue, and green floral arabesque of Persian inscriptions.

4 - Deep under the hart of this magnificent mausoleum is Akbar’s Tomb where he was laid to rest in 1605.

14 – The northern (back) gateway is in ruins and shows a good example of how they where constructed.

19 - The beautiful garden surrounding the mausoleum is designed in the charbagh style enhancing its overall beauty.

Absolutely dazzling.  I spent my lunch hour taking your tour.  Thank you for sharing.

I got this new page just about done for the Fatehpur Sikri tour, see what you think. On this tour you will see a lot of places that most people miss. I was there for about 5 or 6 days to get these photos.
I’m thinking of added some more panos around the mosque and palace to finish this tour off.

I've added your site as link of the month on my travel webbie thingy. It won't have you applying for extra bandwidth but it will perhaps bring new visitors to your site. And I loved your camel animated gif.

You'll find the link here scroll down it's on the left side bar.

Hope your Ok with that if not let me know and I'll remove it.

I added 6 more panos around the Mosque at Fatehpur Sikri and 7 around the Palace.
Here are some links to help you find a few of them.

Here’s a tour of the Agra Fort that I’m working that has 7 vr panos so far.
These where taken on 2 different days and the sun was out bright on the first day, that’s why 2 of the panos are brighter that the rest.
On the last one you will see the guard coming over, he’s saying no camera stand allowed.
