Given the incidence of diabetes in India, I wonder about the tumeric research.  How much would you have to eat to get a beneficial effect???

Bitter Gourd is also good for Diabetes.

We eat a lot of this bitter gourd(Karela) during summer.

Karela is available in powdered form as well, from the comapny Dabur I think.

In capsules, so you don't have to taste it! (I hate bitter gourd! :rolleyes: )

My dog has diabetes.  I may try mixing some turmeric with her food ...

DO?  It turns it bright yellow. She may even begin glowing in the dark!
