Thanks for the link KK. It might interest you as well http://www.gisdevelo...on/inapp003.htm thought as far as I know this article itself is good 3-4 years old and still do not refer to the complete set. It never made to the second edition nor there is any reference of such a collection now available on-line. This collection of mare 36 sheets was god send in pre internet days esp. in the light of the idea that GOI guarded the topo sheets of inner line very very jealously.

Great links HaH, to be honest i'm more of a buser than a trekker, but it's always good to get old of some decent maps of the Himalia, I have a couple of Leomann Series maps of Gangotri/Harki dun & Kinnaur regions which are very detailed.

oh KK dont even remind me those atrocious bus rides, i still remember that all night kapla bus ride, sitting in corner far back seat, boink boink boink ..by the time i got down i was just about as stoust as half set custurd jelly... but to think again even i feel trek days are almost over here as well :o
i hvnt seen the old leomann series but Survey of India till sometime back use to sell 7 sheets of trek maps and they were as good as any topo sheets comes from any publication i see now a days.
