Hi there,

I'm hoping that someone can advise about the suitability and safety of pachamama as a form of treatment towards managing hepititus C.

A dear friend was recently diagnosed and is looking at alternative treatments and therapies to increase her well-being and quality of life -pachamama has been suggested to her, but upon speaking to someone else who seemed knowledgeable about the process of pachamama he advised caution as he felt it too extreme for this condition.

I'm hoping that a health professional experienced in ayurveda can offer a more definite answer! And if this treatment is to be avoided, could an alternative be recommended? When I was in South India many years ago I read a little on the subject of nature cure and I wonder if this may be more suitable...? again, I don't even know enough about nature cure to comment on this.

I would be so happy to have these questions answer and also possibly a recommendation about a good centre or region in India for her to visit -preferably by the coast.

With many thanks and much love
Andy

I hope you can find a medical person to discuss this with, and hope your friend can find some help in managing her disease.

You can write to these two institutions to get a better Idea. As Ayurvedic institutions go, these two are hard to beat. One is located in Kerala and the other is in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu.

A million thanks to you all

I've been reading about AVS in Kerala and will pass this on to my friend along with your good wishes.

In deep thanks
