Have any of you participated in Laughter Yoga?? We are hoping to engage in a session on our forthcoming trip and wondered if anyone had any stories to share?

Hi Petrov,

At the start of the session, the teachers  narrate a few jokes to get the laughter juice flowing, then people start to laugh for no apparent reason and it is quite infectious. I attended one such meet and it was a lot of fun.

Btw, a great way to start the day.

Best,

They do this in Delhi, saw a programme about it here, very bizarre indeed.

They do it in Germany too, they have to  :ranting:

Sorry Yash, couldn't resist it!
Smoked for 25 years but now not smoked since 13th Jan. Am I now a non smoker, a smoker who doesn't smoke or an ex smoker? Do I have to even have a title, can I not just be a 'me'? Has not smoking made me crazy?, probably!

It's definitely got to be done - sounds like such a good way to start the day!  :ranting:

I found this list of clubs in India:

http://www.laughtery...p...&name=India

But the info is quite sparse, I'll try calling a few while I'm in various places

It was a huge fad and  there was a documentary on CNN, too. ' Hasya Yoga' (Yoga of laughter) is the name given to This exercise. They are quite easy to find  in Bangalore (Petrov has provided a good list).

In that list, I could't hellp but notice is a club called Sri Vaishnavi Julliet Laughter club, too.  :P

Not bizarre at all - they're great fun!  And who couldn't do with a good laugh - the best thing since chopped liver. :whistling:

forget the chopped liver - add bubblegum instead.

Here's a bit of Laughter Yoga from Bombay.

Actually if you search 'laughter yoga' on youtube there are hundreds on there!
