In Himachal Pradesh, only problem is, i'm now running out of Attachment space. How do i get some more? Do i have to delete some of my old attachments & if i do will that remove them from other posts or the Gallery. Help!! Im a techno-phobe!   KK

There must be space for you to put them up in the gallery!  Could you not put a link from your post to the relevant photos in the gallery?  

I'll have a word with Admin. about you running out of space.  Maybe something can be organized.

KK, we have about 10mb  allowance for attachments, I could be wrong but I don't see any limit on posting pictures in the gallery. Each file has to be less than 1mb I think.  You upload to the gallery and link to the file in your post using the "Insert Image" button.

Another alternative is to use a free image hosting service:
http://imageshack.us/

or
http://www.flickr.com/ (they have a free service with some limitations and a paid subscription)

or
http://photobucket.com/

You could also use Picasa to manage and edit your photos and upload directly from there to http://picasaweb.google.com/home and add a link to the picture here.

Please KK, add them to the gallery.  You have so many beautiful pics and they are always lost in the threads where nobody knows about them.  Upload as many as you like in the gallery, give them decent titles and they'll get picked up on search engines too then!  It'd be appreciated actually, gallery has been a bit neglected of late, might have to put some of my Bulgarian holiday pics in there soon!

Thanks Malkers, I will. But i like to add them to the threads sometimes, because i'm not verreee descriptive or that good at expressing myself & i find the pictures paint a thousand words...so to speak!
So if i need to increase the space what do i have to do? Delete some old attachments? & if i do will they disappear from the old threads i put them in??
Would love to see your Bulgarian pics, but please leave out the ones with you in the trunks!!!!     

Hydra, thanks for the techno advice, i already use Google Picasa, for block photo's, like i said above it's when i want to insert them singularly in a thread with some accompanying blurb. So far i've used 7.73MB of my 9.77MB allowance.

I'm sure John will come along soon and figure a way of increasing your individual space.  But, if you have them in the gallery first you can just paste the thumbnail into a thread so its captured in both places, then when you click the thumbnail it launches the same pic thats stored in the gallery!

Oh thanks again Malc's, but i just tried going to the gallery & left clicking on one of my photo's (thumbnails) but it didn't give me the option to paste, so i clicked copy & that didn't work either........Do you think it's me who's a bit of a technophobe ?? The machines are playing with my head MAN!!!

Oh heck

I can get the picture across ok but can't seem to get a thumbnail to open the full pic, there's definitely a way to do it but my patience has run thin now, I need a cigarette!
