The new Garib Rath or "chariot Of The Poor" class of train has a lot to offer tourists to India, these train utilize space better, to offset fares. The Fares on these AC trains are around 50% cheaper than a similar Shatabdi or Rajdhani class train and cover the distance only a shade slower than their more expensive counterparts.
Reaching many places of interest in AC comfort and speed they shouldn't be overlooked in your travel Plans.

Today sees a new Garib Rath 2993/2934 train flagged off from Bandra Terminus on It's way to Jaipur, this handy train will run through many places of interest for the tourist Like Abu Road, Falna (for Rankpur and Kumbhalgarh) Ajmer, Jaipur and also offers a convenient jumping off point for travellers to Gujarat in Ahmadabad.
The timings are not perfect for intervening station but nonetheless offer a speedy way to get there.

As these are subsidised trains I'm unsure if there will be a Foreign Tourist Quota on these trains I'll try to find out

The 2993 Bandra Terminus – Jaipur Garib Rath Express will
leave from Bandra Terminus every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday at 12.55 hrs and reach Jaipur at 06.40 hrs, the followin day day.

I noticed from the photos that the seats, to accommodate the 3 x 3 configuration, are bit narrow not for the "portly" like me

Contrary to my thoughts on the matter, it appears at least some of the Garib Rath trains do indeed have a Foreign Tourist Quota

That 3X3 configuration will yield more revenue for Lalu but would be very uncomfortable for the passengers.
