Finally I have uploaded a selection (yes, it's a selection!) of pictures of my trip of last year to Haridwar, Bundi and Ujjain:
I hope you can enjoy them!
Don't expect to find too many pics of places and monuments, I'm basically a potographer of people and street scenes... and this is one of the reasons why I love India so much!
I will add something more later on.
Bye! Gianni

Fabulous, FABULOUS, FABULOUS!
The group of thumbnails on the right side of each flickr page would make a fantastic poster - or group of posters. Seriously, I'd buy them!

Ciao Serena, welcome back!!! We all wait for your trip report, don't do as another lazy Italian guy in this forum and post it soon!!
My next trip??? Let me think... it's -31 today!!!!
I have reported my plan in another post; however, it will be a very short trip this time too (only 10 days), but sufficient to add another thousand of pics to my computer! And I will be alone this time too (I explained to you in my last PM).

Great pics gianni, thanks for sharing them! Looking forward to seeing the next ones you will take. Ah, traveling India ...

Cor Blimey! Wonderful pics Gianni, not only do you have a great camera but a great eye too. I'm amazed at how many photo's you managed to take knowing the speed you travel around India. I never got to Bundi by the way, somehow ended up in Hardwar
on New Years Eve & took my dip at the Ghats on New Years Day so great to see those pics, it took me right back there!

Thanks Kukkukid! My camera is not a "top-level" one, I use a simple (but very good) Fuji Finepix 9000S, it has 9 Mpixels resolution and a wonderful 20-300 mm (35 mm. equivalent) lens, and above all it has all the features of the professional reflex cameras (exposure modes, manual corrections, etc.).
If you are surprised of the quantity of pics... well, I said it is a SELECTION only, actually I took more than 1000 pictures!
And if it is true that my last (and my next) trip has been very short, I use to travel with a very slow pace, I spent hours on Haridwar and Ujjain ghats watching people, it's the best way to enter in confidence with them so that they allow you to take pictures as you are simply a part of them. I notice that this is much more true in less touristised places, lake Ujjain (I was the only western in the town during the two days spent there).
I really suggest Ujjain for a deep Indian experience... throw away LP when it says that it's not so interesting for the non-Hindu, it is one of the best places I've visited in India!

Great pictures Gianni Ji!
I browsed thru a few but I think I need to see each and every one of them.
You've captured all the colors of India!
