Humour me on this, please, I've no idea whether this question makes sense.

Tell me whether any part of the piece (chorus, beat) is similar to some classical piece of your country.

I'm not saying AR Rahman is plagiarising or anything of that sort.   Every time I listen to this song(patriotic on the movie), the military bits sounds like I've heard it somewhere.

The lyrics are fantastic in Tamil though I wonder how it all came out in the Hindi version; never seen the hindi version either.
