Yoga is an exercise practiced by the sages of old to keep themselves free from illnesses – those who follow the rituals religiously and sincerely have reported positive results. But, when someone announces today that yoga can cure diseases like cancer and AIDS, it is time to sit up and take notice. These are diseases for which countries the world over are investing millions of dollars to find out remedies and medicines – therefore, off the cuff announcements appear to be gimmicks to gain popularity. There are several TV channels that encourage people to try different yoga asanas – these asanas are certainly useful, regular exercise via this method helps in better blood circulation, eases breathing problems and improves bowel movements. They also help to release pent up tensions and induce a calm mind that in turn leads to sound sleep. These are effects that one can experience – but curing cancer and AIDS is a bit too farfetched.

Hello friends,
I am new to this forum,but I liked it that's why posting reply..
I totally agree whatever you have written. I am also a yoga practitioner so I know it's benefit..I know that if we practice yoga exercises daily then we will be away from every disease and will be very healthy and fit.
It has cure for any problem whether it's physical or mental..

Yoga will be helpful in relieving stress, pain reliever, stimulates good breathing, provides flexibility, strength booster and also helps in weight control.
