Eight weeks ago we mailed two books from USA to a friend in Chennai by surface mail.  They have not yet arrived.  What are the chances they ever will?

I've bought lots of books from ebay UK and US, the ones that are 'signed for' mail usually make it between 8 & 12 weeks, for some strange reason the odd book that was just posted without requiring signature and by surface mail arrived in a couple of weeks.

We've had about 10 ordered, 3 we have never seen at all but you also get the odd one that arrives in 4- 5 months.

It took us 3 months to receive some gravy sachets and some dream topping (fluffy powder stuff to make mock cream) because customs suspected the dream topping was cocaine until they made themselves a lovely fruit salad and had dream topping on it

It might get there, it might not, nobody knows, sorry!

In saying that, most stuff goes the other way with rarely any problems!

Cheers

Smoked for 25 years but now not smoked since 13th Jan. Am I now a non smoker, a smoker who doesn't smoke or an ex smoker? Do I have to even have a title, can I not just be a 'me'? Has not smoking made me crazy?, probably!
