Hallo everybody, well , one month left  ;) and ................... :o  mum fallen and broke her malleolus, had her surgery and now is at home (30 days with plastering). She is so sad  :) and angry  ;) , and me too.....
Now we remain three: me, hubby and my nephew. We try to ask if it's possible to change the name on the ticket (we know a couple interested) but I think it's not possible to do this.

By the way, some news about Karkataka? Weather, politics or other interesting matters?

Sorry to hear that about your Mum. I wish her a speedy recovery.

About Karnataka, It is the start of the winter season here and the weather seems to be colder than usual, over here. You might like the weather and it is anyday better than the summer season.

Politics ? There is a lot of flip-flop happening between the parties here and there is nothing worrisome from a tourist perspective. I am just ashamed of the greed, hunger for power and lack of any moral dignity from our Politicians.

Ouch!  :)  A broken ankle is no fun at all. Please give our best wishes to your mother.

Malkers is quite an authority on Karnataka, so I'm sure he'll answer any questions you have.

All the best,

John

Ciao Serena!

It's amazing, though not fun! Do you remember my story? February 2005, ten days before my wedding and twelwe days before my honeymoon in India (it was my first trip to India)... a stupid accident with my motorbike, and a broken malleolus for me too... I had a surgery and one month of complete stop, then a fast recover and finally my wedding in May (but I had to wait one year more for my first trip to India)...

O my God... it's almost three years ago... it seems yesterday!

And, yes, I'm still around, even if I don't write as much as once... but still dreaming about the next India trip (and checking Indianrail timetables)! :)

BTW: Karnataka is in pole position for my next trip: Hampi, Badami, Aihole, Pattadakal, Mysore, Halebid, Belur, Sravanabenagola, and Tirumala (in AP), is it enough for a two-weeks trip?

Bye bye everybody!

Gianni

P.S.: I hope your mum is having a good recovery as well

Hey Gianni.........Don't be a stranger here!!  You know we love hearing from you and your adventures.  And how about updating that blog???

If it is only those places two weeks are enough. Try Didhsagar water falls on moonlit night from Hampy.

Worried about the weather......
Searching in the web I see everywhere in South India bad weather conditions  :)  .........
I'm leaving in 5 days and I think it's strange in this period of the year to have rains...... ;)

I want the sun!!!!!

Not to worry, it'll be there with a vengeance.

The sun always does.

Here's tip.  If there is a news about a depression in the Bay of Bengal, it's likely to get cloudy all the way till Bangalore.

And the east coast is likely to be wet for a few days.
