I've never personally ordered from any of the above...
Google search : http://www.google.co...;q=indian books
Just a thought, if you know someone in India, maybe it would workout more economical for them to purchase and mail to you 'Book Post' ?

i checked those links - thanks hyderabadi.
the book is 25USD on amazon, plus postage. it's 5USD plus postage at bookshopofindia. looks like a winner to me.
now i might do some serious browsing for books...

well, i've just picked the books up from the post office. i ordered them 20th december, i was notified on tuesday 8th jan that they had arrived. given that this was over the christmas/new year period when there are a lot of public holidays in the australian postal service i'm very impressed.
and they are in perfect condition so i'm going to go make a coffee, lounge on the sofa and have a good browse.
thanks for the tips guys.

Looks like I'm going to be doing some serious browsing this weekend (when I'm supposed to to ... and have to be ... working!)
