It would be interesting to know the work hours and work week in different parts of the world.

In US 40 hours a week and Saturday, Sunday off is considered standard, but many of us end up working extra during week days and weekends. Also independent contractors probably work more! Also work hours are from 7-9AM to 3-5PM. But slowly flexi hours are being introduced in the system.
