Hi all...

I've never been to a country with snow and winter before. I'll be going to Srinagar, Gulmarg, Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Amritsar in December and I was wondering if I should bring my contact lenses with me.

Is it advisable to wear contact lenses during winter time in India? Especially in Gulmarg where it's snowing... Will it be too dry for my eyes and my contact lenses?

Thanks

I don't understand why you think there will be a problem.  People wear contact lenses in cold climates all the time.  Do you think people in Norway, or in Canada, or in (most of) the U.S. or ... any number of other places don't wear contacts in the winter????

I think the right question is what kind of sunglasses you have. You'll need sunglasses in Gulmarg to deal with glare. If you have prescription sunglasses, this point does not apply. Otherwise, you might find contact lenses particularly useful as you can simply use the regular sunglasses.

Otherwise, I've had little problem using contact lenses in India...
