Looking for something else, I came across these sites that let you upload and edit pictures on their websites. Some are good, some are OK and some are in beta testing. Some are completely free some goad you into buying advanced features.....

Most allow you to upload pictures after editing to other photosharing sites like Flickr.

On the whole it's a great deal if you can do some basic fixes for free and save on your computer or on a sharing site like Flickr, Photobucket etc. No? :D ;)

If you do want to download a program, the old favorite (of mine) ofcourse is Picasa - good and free from Google, for a quick edit.

Enjoy!

PS: Adobe is said to be launching a online  ad supported photoeditor soon.

Here it is:

Registration for the free 2gb space seems to be for the US only at the moment.

Photoshop Express is a great disappointment!

There are very few editing tools, and they're clumsy.  The photo album is all done in Flash, so it's a complete waste of time if you're interested in digital photography, where the jpg is king.

http://www.picnik.com is far more intuitive, easier and has lots more features, and Flickr is still the place for photo storage.
