I found googling about www.the-cloak.com and http://anonymouse.org/
Now wonder google is generic term, I use yahoo for all my search and most everything. O will switch to google exclusively!

Reason, I do not want web sites I use to know my IP. I am sure there are advanced tools for them to get around that but still...   Also other way, I do not want my boss to know what I am surfing!

Firefox has some good addons for anonymous browsing.

As Hyderabadi said, it depends on your reasons for anonymity and how secure you need to be.

Computer forensics are quite advanced!   :)

But if your boss is a 'cat'... no mooshik can get away...   <_<

So you are basically looking to cover your 'out-going' tracks, that is -is it OK with you if a website you are visiting knows where/who you are?

Bhai Cyberhippie may have some tips too.
