The trip will take about 12 weeks, the downside of these things for me is you have to place a lot of trust in your travel mates. It only takes one or two pains in the butt to really wreck a journey like this. The proximity of the same folk on a 12 week trip invites conflict but equally if everyone hit's it off it would be a trip you would never forget and I suppose you would form a firm bond with your fellow travelers!!
I've got no stake in this company and as yet can't even recommend them, as this is the inaugural trip so let's see what happens eh!!
I wonder if they have a Blogger on board??
Really does seem like a great trip though and not hugely expensive for what you get and the places you'll see!

Wow!
This sounds fantastic ... and as you said, for what you get the price doesn't seem exorbitant.

It makes me long for the days of the "Magic Bus" -- I think it was $50 from Istanbul to Kabul! And oh, the people we'd meet!

This would work a lot better as a 'hop-on/hop-off' service. As it is, despite the extensive list of destinations, in 12 weeks you're really not going to be able to fully enjoy any of them, plus you'd be missing out on so much more.
Throw in a bunch of potentially annoying strangers, and it really wouldn't be my cup of tea.....

I had the same thought Connor a hop on hop off service would be brilliant. I think these trips are designed for those travellers who can't spare the time to be travelers if you get my drift.
I also thought about the other side what an awesome trip to do with a bunch of mates, He he I can just imagine it with a bunch of Scots, it would be a laugh a minute.

To avoid paying his fare, a Scot invented hiding in train's toilet.
