Does anyone know if there are buses in the afternoon from Satna (arr by train) to Khajuraho?

I always advise a rather strange route in this, continue on to Jhansi get a good sleep and catch the bus from there. The road between Satna and Khajuraho is terrible and although your over shooting Khajuraho by some 170 Kms the road between Jhansi and Khajuraho is waaay better, catching the 11am bus from just outside Jhansi Station it takes around 4.5 hours to reach Khajuraho.
You could combine this with a trip to Orchha which is unmissable if you're in the area. Orchha is just 18 KMs away and a great place to explore Khajuraho from!
The choice is your of course but this is a more comfortable route believe me.
