Santa Cruz [Domestic - 4kms away from International] has police queued taxis....


can anyone verify whether these taxis are available 24 hours a day???

I would love to take only prepaid cabs. However, I read somewhere that the Santa Cruz domestic airport does not have a prepaid taxi counter....with only police queued taxis are available? Perhaps they are mistaken?

Domestic airport did not have prepaid taxi last time I went there in April. Only police queued.

Thank you for confirming that the domestic airport in Mumbai has police queued taxis only.

prepaid taxis are available 24-hours but I'm not pretty sure about the police queued taxis. I know Mumbai airport has police queued taxis but i'm not sure if it's 24-hours available.

In most of the big cities in India Akbar Travels has good network of taxi services from airports. They are quite reliable and they are available round the clock. You may log on to Akbar Travels for details. I have already availed their services in Mumbai. Rates are also reasonable.
