The Osian Film Fest has started in Delhi. The screenigs are at Siri Fort, PVR & Aliiance Francaise. As usual good mix of films. Missed the opening ceremony yesterday 'cause of my indisposition. Going for "Money" by Robert Bresson today and "Kaal" by Bappaditta Bandopadhya tomorrow.
Last year we saw Bappaditta's "Devaki". Would also see "Calcutta my love" by Gautam Ghose.

Watched a fabulous film from Thailand last night. The best part of these fests are the "addas" with film lovers and these young directors.

Osian film fest 2009 has begun. After years of cribbing by Delhities over holding this fest in the muggy month of August the grand Lady who organises and sponsors this fest has this year shifted it to the cool period of late October.
The weather now in Delhi is superb and so looking forward to good films and the "adda" & all the bonhomie that are a part and parcel of this fest. Returning home after a couple of good films recling on the back seat of my car when the light mist engulfs the city... sipping Vodka Cranberry breezers... what a good time man !!!!!
Called my namesake(minus the moy) Jyoti and got her registerd at the fest.

I looked at their website and got the impression this is an invite only affair would I be right in thinking this?

I liked the sound of the reclining in the back seat of your car, can't wait to do it again Jyoti Da.
