For decades our weekend dinner remained the same... Luchi that is poori made of refined flour fried in cow milk ghee, potato fingers fried in goose fat and spicey meat curry... mostly Kasha Mangsho... here are the pics

A feast indeed! I find the neat and tiny shape of the potato fingers quite fascinating. Mine would probably come out all jagged and bulky.

That's Tilapia Jyoti da. The Trout is still in the freezer.
What we get here is usually fish filet. I bought an electric knife couple of weeks ago and have bee experimenting. The chicken too is cut up 'village-chicken-wallah' style and the whole fish into steaks.

Mmmm! Will the recipes be appearing in the recipe forum any time soon?

When Tilapia was introduced in India they used to be called "American Koi" in Kolkata.
