I am trying to find some informative and in depth city guide books for Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai, can you suggest some? So far I have only found a LP guide for Mumbai (96 pages), but this one seems to be quite meagre. Which ones are you using if you spend some time in these cities and explore them? Any recommendations appreciated.

Well I'd suggest Jyoti Da for Delhi and Paagla for Calcutta
Or Have a look hereI see they have a Delhi guide. I'm not sure how good it Is but I've been impressed with some of the other publications they've done and the books are only 3.5 Euros if you buy them in India (khan Market)
Do you have an ipod Yash I know there are some ipod guides for Delhi and Mumbai.

Thanks, cyber, for your suggestions. I will try to look at the Delhi guide as soon as my connection permits. Don't know what is going on today, but things are WAY too slow at the moment. The iPod guides sound great, Mr Y has one and shall look into that.
I had expected to find many many good city guide books, and the obvious lack surprises me. Amazon offers very little in that department, but I am sure there must be those bible-like books travelers use as a standard, no?
