Two enterprising ladies have launched “luxury machine” They have converted two buses in to a luxurious aircon lounge with sofas & antique furniture, huge glass windows. There is a well stocked bar too and you will be served by liveried waiters. The bus will take you to the historical sights of Delhi. There are 4 large screen LCD panels to augment the scene outside as you pass thru different areas of the city. The ticket costs Rs.1600 for a day trip & Rs.1700 for an evening trip. The ticket cost includes entry to monuments, snacks & drinks on board.

That does sounds pretty good, I've gotta admit.

I do quite like a day in the fumes arguing over the price with a rickshaw-wallah, though. :(

I have made another blunder the price is Rs.6500 for the day trip & Rs.6700 for the evening trip. Check out www.theroyaltimemachine.com
With my memory like a tossed salad I won't post any news item.

I think so too Judi.
BTW rickshaws have been banned in Chandni Chowk. You have mini buses now.
The entrance fee is Rs.250/- for monuments for foreigners. That's 4 Euros. We had been paying much more in Europe.
