Hello,

We are 4 travellers arriving in Delhi on the morning of the 4th July, we will all be carrying bicycles and baggage.

We are looking to book some form of transportation to take us form Delhi to Manali in the most comfortable and quickest time possible, ideally only making stops when necessary.

Therefore a comfortable vehicle with air conditioning and plenty of space would be ideal, perhaps with reclining chairs or sleepers because of the long journey, although this is not absolutely necessary.

Would you be able to quote me on organising such a trip?

Kind regards

Harsharn Gill

Ps. I realise that buses run daily anytime between 4.00pm onwards, however these take in the region of 14hrs+. I am looking to travel as soon as we arrive in Delhi, which I anticipate to be approx 11am, and ideally arriving in Manali before midnight.

Any advice of quotations would be greatly received.

Arranging an A/C bus with reclining seats wont be a problem but carrying bicycles I am not too sure. Also remember that if you hire a private transport from Delhi you will have to pay for return journey also. Another fact worth mentioning here is that July is peak monsoon time and is certainly not the best time for biking in the mountains.

Many thanks for your reply.

The bicycles won't be as large as you think, because the wheels come off, which makes them far easier to store.

The trip we are planning is from Manali to Leh, and would I be correct in saying that once we get over the Rohtang La Pass and higher altitude, there will be little chance of rain?

I realise that organising such a trip will involve the driver making a return trip.

All I'm looking for at the moment is a price to see whether its feasible, or if it would be better to take a Volvo Bus.

I am a big fan of the series, I was able to convert any number of people in this show and are equally passionate. Not everyone will love this show, but above all it is a big clock .. and the warning: You can quickly get addicted to it. If so, you must wait until 2011 for the premiere of the new season. I do not know about anyone else, but I'm starting to contract by 10 months of waiting was mostly suck.
Not everyone can, as always seems to, but I think this season has been exciting. Finally, the bill has given Sookie start the season finale. Series have strayed from the books, everyone seems to be a season goes further than the book goes. For example, Calvin Norris would not have had his brains blown out, because it is something different going on Jason because he was the community leopard. But at least Bill is a slightly darker side is now coming to what is lacking in all three seasons so far.
This season is much more fun than Bill and Sookie must revive what was lost. Jason is still lost. Werewolves, if part of this season, are the creatures that are usually hits. In fact, are only slightly stronger than the basic form of leverage. The Wolf Man has the moral and his friendship with Sookie is the best new characters. A group of characters that were prevelent in the first two seasons have been eliminated, but remain Lafayette and Tara. I think we will learn what Sookie is really the end of the season and a showdown with the vampire king is probably on the cards. I am sure that will end with another thriller that will be bigger than the first two seasons. Hopefully we do not have to wait so long for this time of season 4!
