Hello All,

I'm having a bit of a hard time tracking down which adapters I should bring with me.  I went to a travel store and they said I need a whole bunch, for a whole bunch are listed by this company.  But I figured I would come on to the forum and ask the real experts how it really is there and what I need.  Thanks so much!

A two pin adaptor (round 3-4mm pin) will suffice. There are sockets with three pins but usually on high wattage items like electric boilers.
Even if you come across a three pin socket the two pin will suffice. Most things like notebooks transformers and cameras are double insulated, so the earth pin isn't strictly necessary.

we only needed one, and i'm guessing from what cyberhippie said that it must have been two pinned (it was a while ago, and i didn't buy it).

Keep in mind that the AC mains supply voltage in India is 230 Volts. So equipments designed to work off 110 Volts might get damaged unless they are of universal type that is capable of working over the range 90 to 250 Volts.
You can buy adapters in India at a much cheaper price.
