I AM THAT!
Here's another, probably the best spiritual teaching to come out of India in recent times. I AM THAT by Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj http://home.earthlin...n/I_Am_That.pdf
Caution: Reading this could lead to enlightenment! KK
Here's some info on him & his Lineage

A very powerful set of quotes, KK. Thanks for posting.
PS It is surprising to note that the OP for that thread has not posted again, in that forum.

Discover all that you are not -- body, feelings thoughts, time, space, this or that -- nothing, concrete or abstract, which you perceive can be you. The very act of perceiving shows that you are not what you perceive." -Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj

The I am is nothingness. From nothingness this "I-am-ness" has appeared.

People come here with some profound concept of spirituality. They think they have spiritual knowledge and they want me to give them a clean certificate. This I don't do. I blast their concepts... All knowledge is ignorance.

What great Pearls of Wisdom, Batistuta.

Hi kk!!! I sprained my ankle while playing basketball, apart from that minor irritant, I am doing great ( Hum thik tak hain)
I am Re-reading I Am that and Stillness Speaks ( Eckhart) which is in the form of Sutras. I am also reading a few passages from the teachings of Sri Atmanandaji and Ramana Maharshi (Be as you are),
KK, You did mention once that adding new concepts was not the way to go about things and that Neti-Neti approach is better. After re-reading these books, I agree with your point. Even Maharshi seems to be emphasising the same approach.
Priya, KK has posted many links from which you can download great teachings. There might be some truth to the saying that the best things in life are free (Provided that one has a computer and an internet connection, in this case

I DO have a connection at the moment, albeit a very slow one of 20kbps so, if the downloads aren't too big, I download. I have quite a few of KK's great suggestions already

I've just finished reading "The Essence of Ribhu Gita" (highly recommended) from this Ramanaji link;

I've just started on "Hunting the 'I'" from the same link.
