Check Out Eckhart Tolle. He has said that He is a great admirer of Ramana Mahrishi and J krishnamurthi. I like Eckhart Tolle, too. He is the real deal and His ' Book Power of Now' is a classic.
Discover all that you are not -- body, feelings thoughts, time, space, this or that -- nothing, concrete or abstract, which you perceive can be you. The very act of perceiving shows that you are not what you perceive." -Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj

Yes read that one also watched two of his video's last year. I find what he says is basically the same as J.K. but from a different angle. He says in his video that he approaches it from the positive as opposed to J.K.'s approach from the negative. Personally i prefer J.K.'s approach through negation which is basically Advaita Vedanta, even though J.K. would never have admitted to this!
I joined Eckharts discussion forum a few days ago. Here it is:

Dear Batistuta,
This is a very respectful query, and far from any desire to stir up any controversy or acrimony. I was quite surprised to see your strong approval of Tolle, and by extension of Sri Ramana Maharshi when your disapproval of Sri Ramakrishna is quite strong. At the core, the message of these two is strikingly alike, and both Ramakrishna and Sri Ramana are speaking of/from the exact same non-dualistic tradition, without even the qualifications rendered by, say, the Kashmir Shaivite non-dualisms or several other non-dualisms present in India, or even of any of the other 10 Vedantic [yes, 10] traditions renowned in the country.
Therefore, if you disqualify one as "pure bovine .....", how could the second be validated?
Just curious, and in a respectful fashion. Not antagonistic at all, wanting to learn.

Matey, you must have read my post in the 'Ram is a myth' thread. I would love to reply, but I would not do so as I would have to make some unsavoury comments and would end up hurting the Religious sentiments of a certain member, Whose views, I respect.
Sorry and cheers.
