From 13t. April to 26th. Tom Alter, Zohra Segal and Shivardhan Trivedi will stage this adaptation of Dalrymple's City of Djinns. The story depicts the year Dalarymple and his artist wife Olivia spent in Delhi. Their experience of Delhi's life, loves, friendships, losses...
To add to the atmosphere there will be bangle sellers, kabab sellers, cock fights and Sufi music featuring works of Khusrau and Rumi.

Is Zohra Segal playing the landlady? Or some other role? (e.g., one of the old begums Dalrymple meets?) Or is she just a producer? I love her!

City of Djinns, Amir Khusrao and Rumi.. wow. Enjoy, Jyoti.
The BBC production of COD had sufi music of sorts too... Michael Brooks and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, which was haunting.
Heres somthing by Rumi
