I thought it might be a good idea to have a section with links to on-line books that relate to India. Here's my first contribution IMHO one of the best spiritually related books ever written in India (& there's been a few!) Yogananda's "Autobiography of a Yogi" If you haven't read it now's your chance! :) KK

Thanks for that link KK. I've already read the first chapter - and have Tuesday to look forward to for another chapter, work permitting of course :whistling:
'Their people will judge them on what they can build and not what they destroy.
To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent,
know that you are on the wrong side of history; but that we will extend a hand if you are
willing to unclench your fist." ~ Barack Obama.

I AM THAT!

Here's another, probably the best spiritual teaching to come out of India in recent times. I AM THAT by Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj http://home.earthlin...n/I_Am_That.pdf
Caution: Reading this could lead to enlightenment! :lol: KK

Here's some info on him & his Lineage

Here's the story of Swami Yogi Jnananandaji, a Swiss guy who upon reading "Autobiography of a Yogi" in 1959 set off on foot overland to India. He found his Guru (who said he had been waiting for him) within a week of reaching Calcutta. He's lived in India ever since & resides in Mussourie & Dehra Dun, his Ashram is in Dehra Dun. I'm hoping to be able to pay him a visit during my forth coming trip. Here it is;

We managed to make contact with Swamiji & stopped at His Ashram for 30 mins Darshan on our way from Rishi to Shimla. Also met His dog Dharma without being bitten!
